  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is quick to throw together for a meal.

I will provide 2 ways of making this both are excellent.

#1 is IF you have time, #2 is if you are pressed for time.

No time version:

makes ~8 portions.

1 can of cream of chicken (condensed I use campbells but generic brand works as well) equal portion (10 oz) of sour cream.
1tbs lemon juice (optional)
1tbs pepper

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Place breasts in an 8 x 11 cooking pan

Mix sour cream, soup, lemon juice and pepper together and spread sauce over the top of the chicken breasts. I also suggest that you cut the breasts in to pieces for simpler serving.

1 sleeve of ritz crackers (or generic equivalent )
1 stick of butter.

Melt butter (microwave 1 minute in a microwavable dish)
crush the crackers while still in sleeve. Pour crushed crackers into the melted butter and spread buttered crackers over the top of the sauce evenly.

Cook at 325 for 1 hour. 20 minutes prior to chicken is finished. Start your rice cooker or cook your rice.

IF you have time...... Cook rice and spread all of your cooked rice on the bottom of your 8 x 11 casserole dish then follow the rest of the no time directions.....
