If the UN has proven impotent at dealing with problem countries, does that mean it's justifiable to ignore UN sanctions with war? If so, how does that differ from me pointing out that my country's law does not catch all criminals, and therefore is somewhat impotent, and if they can't catch me, then what I've done is justified?Yup.
Just because you got away with it doesn't in any way negate the law.
Not every country is a member of the UN. Besides, the UN has proven impotent in their dealings with "problem countries".
Under what circumstances do you believe God is in favor of killing? When it comes to war and conquering, what factors must be in effect for war and killing to be considered acceptable by God?As a Christian, I do believe that God is the ultimate Authority. From a social aspect though, you only mans law.
Where can it be discussed? The answer to that is too easily misconstrued and I don't believe can be discussed here. That is why I gave a generic example for an answer.
