Times are getting tough friend and God gave us a brain for a reason.
I will not go into detail on why I think people are brainwashed by video games and Tv and everything else going on around them and then how they need anti depressants because they don't have Jesus and cannot find peace in their life. So since I am not going there, I will just say that as a "person of faith" you should understand bible fulfillment and that times are going to get this way in the end days.
I have read the end of the book and it scares me, But I trust in Jesus and He gave me the common horse sense to buy guns and bullets and other things that I might one day need, so that I do not have to beg or join some gang of criminals to get food in these lat days.

Where do you find the intrinsic worth of human life apart from Christianity? You can say you have your own preferences and values, but they simply remain your own. They need not mean anything to anyone else. Where does the value of life come from? It cannot be self existing because there is nothing behind it apart from God.

What should I personally do? I own some guns. Should I get rid of them and then hope some kid doesn't walk into another school with his own gun and start shooting people? Then I could say, "Well, I did my part!". I understand the sentiment that if we only were to "do something", then these tragedies wouldn't happen. It simply doesn't work that way.

I really am appalled by the lack of compassion and humanity on these forums. I'm glad I left the Christian label. I haven't left God, but I'm not going to be associated with such callous, heartless, cruel people who stand for the very things Jesus opposed.
