The same thing was said of the vikings, and how many churches are in those countries now? you are just impatient and are thinking of the here and now, and not the will be.
Better to lose your life for the Lord than to lose your soul.I am merely pointing out some facts on what is happening. On hindsight, do you agree converting some iraqis to Christianity was a mistake that ultimately destroyed their lives and made them slaves in hands of Isis
Better to lose your life for the Lord than to lose your soul.
The Iraqis were not killed because they converted to Christianity. They were killed because they converted to Christianity and the poorest excuse for a human being ever elected abandoned them before the Iraqi government could protect them.
Easy to say when it is not your life that is at stake.
Who says it doesn't? How do you know the Christians' souls aren't taken to heaven an instant before their bodies are destroyed? So, the 'holy spirit' has no role to play here. Why do you think holy spirit has a role to play in heaven (and/or hell) when it cannot do anything here ?.
Oh, this is about Obama, right?Better to lose your life for the Lord than to lose your soul.

Isis gained a foothold in Iraq because of the power vacuum from Obummer pulling American forces out before the government of Iraq could establish a firm foundation. He was warned against it, but he always puts the interests of America and its allies last. In fact, it's fairly well established that the state department was supplying guns to radical Islamists to topple the government of Syria. Isis took over cities that Americans bled to liberate because American voters wanted to "share the wealth" of those who had earned it. What pathetic, covetous creatures have we become to vote for a lifelong enemy of America because he promises to give us things he takes from others.Oh, this is about Obama, right?

You are aware of course that Obama didn't withdraw the troops unilaterally, right?Isis gained a foothold in Iraq because of the power vacuum from Obummer pulling American forces out before the government of Iraq could establish a firm foundation. But back to the OP, I haven't seen anyone smearing all Muslims. Perhaps I've missed it.
He was the commander-in-chief. He made the decision when to pull the troops out and he made the decision not to leave a significant training force in place. Claiming it's Bush's fault won't wash. The timeline is ALWAYS dependent on the situation at the moment. You are aware of course that Obama didn't withdraw the troops unilaterally, right?
How long did we remain in Germany?ANd how long do you think it would take for the Iraqi government to gain a foothold? two more years? twenty more years. Try a few decades....if then.
If only we had stayed longer....
If only we had tried harder....

No president in our history would have been so Abysmally STUPID as to pull out completely and lose the territory to Isis. At least Carter can die knowing that he is no longer the worst president in the last century.
What part of "The Iraqis didn't want US troops there anymore" is difficult for you?He was the commander-in-chief. Can you think of anything different between the situation post War2 and today? Give you a clue, 4 letters, middle two the same...How long did we remain in Germany?
How long did we remain in Japan?
Look how long it too US to stop fighting among ourselves... oh wait.... some of us still are.
Minor point, don't forget the Marsh Arabs in the South West. But they all want the others dead too. Those who think, "Gosh if we'd only hung around a bit while longer ISIS never would have been a thing", are fooling themselves.
Iraq is a country made up of three very different groups of people, the sunnis hate the shiites and they both hate the kurds and they all want each other dead.
If it wasn't for the interference of western powers what we call Iraq would be three different states.
Hate Saddam all you want and I agree he was a vile horrible person as was the government he led but he kept the peace, the moment you removed the man who kept the peace ISIS or something like it was inevitable. These three groups have hated each other for centuries, attempting to make them work together will never work until they want to work together, we haven't reached that point.
When we killed Saddam we created a vacuum of power, it was inevitable that someone was going to take it's place. And just like we were wrong with the hilarious, "they will welcome us in the streets" we were wrong that we were somehow going to westernize them.
The west created the current power structure in Iran in the early 50's, the west is also responsible for the current power structure in Iraq now.
At some point we will learn to stop treating the rest of the world as pawns.
So it's all the Iraqi's fault that Obummer couldn't; and didn't want to; work out a status of forces agreement? We could have simply said, "We're staying to help train until you're strong enough to stand alone." No, Obummer followed the dreams of his father; that America and Europe were evil colonialists who stole the wealth of the third world countries which rightfully deserved it. He has worked to the detriment of this nation his entire life. That's who he is. That's why he wanted the US out of the Middle East. He doesn't care if Iran dominates the region, so long as it isn't a western power. What part of "The Iraqis didn't want US troops there anymore" is difficult for you?
Do you think international Islamic fascism is any less dangerous? Can you think of anything different between the situation post War2 and today? Give you a clue, 4 letters, middle two the same...
Than Cold War era USSR? Yes. Like comparing a guppy to a great white. You've really got to get over this idea that militant Islam poses any sort of a threat to the West.Do you think international Islamic fascism is any less dangerous?
He abided by terms set by Bush, and what the Iraqis wanted. Really not seeing how it's Obama's fault. I'd also like to know how long you'd be happy to keep sending troops to die there. I assume you volunteered to go? Happy for your kids to go too, are you?So it's all the Iraqi's fault that Obummer couldn't; and didn't want to; work out a status of forces agreement?
