Are you referring to the gifts/bent (combination of faculties, qualities and talents) that Paul wrote to the church in Rome about, namely: "Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness."?

Its the supernatural work of God working in the believer to both will and empower us to do the good works he prepares for us, in us, with us. . not of our own selves. Work and rest being the greatest gift.

In that way good works as all the spiritual unseen gifts in a believer . They are always two fold gifting the one sent the prophet with as desire and the hearer of prophecy . Never self edifying.

A good place to see that working is in the introduction of Romans.(the gospel). Again the unseen workings of God called faith .and therefore beginning with faith and ending .Faith to faith.

I would offer It is recognized as the mutual faith of Christ, the teacher, that works in each one individually and therefore as a whole. .

Romans1:9-17For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

My kingdom mission is ministering to the lost through my work in fashion design. That's my calling. It encompasses entrepreneurial pursuits which utilize writing, speaking, creativity, and coaching. Everything on the natural list (save two items) is related to my purpose.

My offering to the body is support, intercession and encouragement. I do this in addition to the tasks the Lord requires. While I'm not called to the church, I serve others through my knowledge and experience.

In 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 (NLT2) There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord.
God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another, the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.
The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.
He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said.
It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

I may have one, or many, I may two, or many, I may three, or many, I may four, or many, I may have five, or many, I may have six, or many, or I may have seven, but if I all of the greatest of all seven is LOVE above all

Spiritual gifts are two fold and never self edifying. Two is the number of the witness of God the unseen witness, greater than the witness of man, seen.

Both the gift of prophecy which is declaring the word of God the gospel. which is brought by the feet of the apostle, as sent ones, and the faith to believe the prophecy work as one . The same spirit of faith as it is written works mutually in two or more .

I write music as a hobby. The pieces I have written vary in style, but many of them follow Christian themes and I have written them so they can be used as an aid to prayer and worship.
I have had some interesting feedback over the years.
There was one lady who was terminally ill who was curious about my playing and wanted a compilation of my music. I met her shortly afterwards and she told me that my music was a great blessing to her. She said she felt tremendous peace and comfort when hearing it and described it as anointed.
There is another couple I know who I gave one of my compilation CD's. They tell me that they cannot stop listening to it because it gives them a feeling of peace and hope.
