I love using a Pikachu.
It's very funny that you say that, because I beat the electric trainers Raichu with my Pikachu with a lower level and no potions.

even raichus stats are terrible! there are so many batter electric types! luxray, ampharos, magnezone, electross, electivire. go to bulbapedia and compare the stats. youll be surprised at how lacking the series mascot is!

I would be very careful with pokemon.. the enemy likes to put his sign on things that are his.. if you look at Kadabra you will notice he has a pentacle on his head.. His head is shaded like a pentagram and he has a version of the baphomet hand sign clearly displayed.

Given that the pentagram only gained its association with satanism around the turn of the 20th century, and until that was a symbol associated with Christianity, I wouldn't really worry about whether Yahweh or Lucifer are fighting over whose turn it is to use it.

And iirc correctly, Kadabra doesn't have a pentagram, but he is marked with the standard set of symbols in an ESP test.

But Pikachu is so cute, and can almost literally learn all the coolest moves.
I'm pretty sure he can learn a move from each type.
Heck he can learn fly and Surf without hacking.
And I know there are better elec types, he's just the most epic.

I was always afraid he would destory all the work I already had done.
Which, most of the time, he would.
