No it is a family vacation. I do hope to do ministry in Mexico some day I am still working on learning Spanish. Our church did one several summers ago but I could not join them. They went to the Baja area and built a house and my oldest son was one of the leaders of the team driving from Vancouver Canada. I am looking for mission opportunities here at home and have started supporting our outreach to the homeless. I haven't actually gone out to distribute food and clothes yet but I have started helping prepare sandwiches etc. Maybe next month I will be led to go out as well. Jan

Being so close to Mexico, I think quite a few Texas churches including my own, do some ministry in Mexico. My husband went to a trip to the border town of Matamoras a few years back with the worship team. The church took clothing down about 2 weeks ago. Glad you are looking for ways to get involved locally too.

Our weather is cooler yesterday and today but supposed to be back to 99 tomorrow!
