Unbelievable!!! I just got home from driving twenty miles through a horrible, horrible storm!! Lightning strikes all around us, and now that I'm home, the news is reporting tornado warnings in our area. I've never been so glad to be home in my life. The news report 620 lightning strikes in the last 15 minutes! I believe it. It was horrible driving in that! *shaking like a leaf*

Thank God that you are home safely rahmiyn. Twenty miles in a storm like that must have been terrifying! I hope you've got over it now and are enjoying the comfort of home.

Thank you! The news is reporting all kinds of damage. There's a warehouse with a twenty-foot hole in the roof from a lightning strike. They said there were accidents everywhere, but we did not see one! I'm so thankful. There is an apartment building nearby that was damaged and many of the tenants are without a place tonight. The storms have moved out now, and the skies are calmer everywhere. I've lived in Florida my whole life, and I've never had such an experience. I'm so glad it's over! *whew!*

95 degrees right now, with a 50% chance for rain and thunderstorms tonight. Hopefully, we won't have a repeat of yesterday! I check the news this morning, and there were no casualties, but several people lost everything when lightning struck their apartment building nearby.

Poured rain yesterday morning; then turned hot and humid in the afternoon. But, we had a cool breeze this morning, and the high today is predicted to be 83 F.
