it's 8:43am, about 41 degrees F, and rainy......there's a winter watch expected later today and a cold front coming through....snow possible tomorrow

Those of you on the east side of the USA seem to have quite dramatic changes in temperatures. (Pecan trees Walkin2e sound lovely!)

Milder here today, but very wet.

the floor has been wet earlier in the day from intermittent 'sprinkles'
and showing no-sign of, drying out

The ground is waterlogged and puddles remain

Windchills of -23 degrees F, heavy snows driven by gusts up to 48 mph . . we're having an old-fashioned roaring blizzard up here. No one's going anywhere, we can't even see the trees in front of the house at times! Mercifully, the electricity is holding and the Vikings are creaming Arizona!

Doc appointment, later concerning my hernia repair
which has been tearing-away, inside [at the bottom]
causing 'stitch-like' stabbing pains when leg is lifted /moved-forward
especially, when descending stairs

Actually, I have taken some paracetamol and codeine phospate tabs
which have, prevented too much discomfort by reducing inflammation
but it will need sorting to prevent further problems

It is in the 50's and rainy and quite breezy, but that is very good for mid-december in NE Ohio.

*so wants 60 degrees again!* Mercifully, I don't think it got down as low as predicted last night . . -28 . . but dipped below -15. At least there is no wind to make it even more brutal.
