I hope it warms up for you Michael too, and for anyone else with bitterly cold temperatures.

The milder weather continues here. I had a lovely walk again this evening. Mild enough to unbutton my coat for part of it. There was a little rain, but it was mainly dry and calm with a bit of coolness on my face. Almost perfect weather for me.

*jaw drops* Roses leafing out?! Oh how wonderful . . I'm afraid winter has seized us again with a good layer of fresh snow, drifting and blowing and sub-zero temps again tonight. Lord forgive my grumbling, but I really do long for spring . .

Thanks for the warm wishes. We're suppossed to see 28 (f) today, though the nights are still in the low-mid teens. Still very windy too. Something has changed in the last two years, in that we have much more high wind here, year around, then we used to.

lol I have been searching for pics of butterflies actually feeding on our bush
but have been having prob's locating them

that is such a blessing....to even have such a thing....

i used to work at a place that had a butterfly garden....it was a God-given way of relieving stress each day i walked through it....butterflies everywhere....and it was as if God was telling me to s-l-o-w- downnnnnnn.....

it's sunny and 38 degrees right now at 9:02am

and yes.... His peace comes
with witnessing His power and presence in our lives
when, no-longer, are eyes BLIND to the works of His paintbrush
sight of those vivid colours and gentle hues
can really remove the deepest 'blues'

Thanks for the warning Dave ! A bit colder today, I think, but nothing like as cold as some of you are experiencing. Haven't had the winds yet...
