Aaaah! Don't want frosts yet! :o Not until these sash windows have been insulated in some way. So far it's a few degrees above freezing - about 5C tonight I think. It was a lovely sunny day today.

Cloudy tonight, rainy tomorrow. Not much change in temps from morning to night the next couple of days. Right now, 53F. Going down to 45F tonight, up to mid 50s tomorrow, tomorrow night and Wednesday under sloppy skies, cooling to near freezing Wednesday night. November in the Windy City-- cold and rainy.

Two words : CLING FILM

trap the cold air against the glass and, at the same time
prevent internal moisture condensing on the glass
draughty 'gaps' in the frames will also be dealt with...

As predicted earlier, today is a slopfest. Rainy, temps near static in the 50s until late tonight.

Sunny today. When I awoke, it was 29F outside, right now it's 36F, headed to 47F under clear skies. 29F for the low tonight, then it gets warmer for the weekend before cooling again early next week.

Here in China this afternoon is very gloomy and dismal. The windows are open to let in fresh(?) air. The temperature seems to be in the low 50's or high 40's. Because the buildings are unheated we wear our winter coats now inside.

But my heart aches for those in the Philippines.

The island and bay of Leyte, where General MacArthur returned and stepped ashore
took the brunt of those 200 mile an hour winds of the cyclone.

At work, I support people there and email them each week that are
in Palo and Tacloban City area.

Their world is destroyed.
