it has been a bright, very cold day...but such a wonderful feeling, maybe someone is praying, it has been that sort of day.

Here too, but the last week we had snow and yesterday was beautiful, not so cold, we went skating.

Wow - the fog has moved into the Maryland mountains and I'm in a cloud! Ice was here this morning, but now it's just damp, rainy and damp - 35 degrees and rising.

I have had to 'de-ice' the car, three-times last-night and this morning

brrrrrrrrrrr but it is feeling really cold outdoors

We had some fog this morning, but not freezing fog. Didn't need to de-ice the car or anything like that so its obviously not so cold as "up north"!

Rainy and dull

It was crisp and frosty this morning on the way to church. On the way home the frost had melted where the sun had fell on it. Still cold! Brrr

The church is very well heated on Sundays...but...my organ at church is quite old and the foot combination pedals let a draft through...a very cold draft...so I had padded trousers on underneath my cassock and it was still cold around the ankles. A blanket next week! (Not quite worked out how to play the organ with a blanket round my legs, I am still working on that idea)

My thermometer _ here, in the car says: 5.C. But, in the car it seems to be much-colder. I have the engine 'running' so heater will soon have me cosy :thumbsup'

It has been warmer today around 8c, actually went for a walk along the canal! counted ducks and geese...did some shopping, came home and made some oat biscuits, so the weather was good.
