It rained. I had a trip to downstate Indiana last night, and as luck would have it there was sufficient time for sleeping in the van. So it rained hard. Front row seating to the lightning show, noise of heavy rain on the roof of the van.
Today, showers off and on, it's been dry the last several hours. Back at home now, it's 79F after having gotten to 83F this afternoon. Cooling weather coming in this weekend, I'll need to break out the heater if I have another overnighter with lows in the 40s F the next several nights.

We had several more nice rains today, so we're giving thanks. We have higher chances for more rain over the next several days. We'll take all we can get. Thank you Lord.

Sunny, 64F, doubt that the high will make 70F. Tonight's lows could be in the mid 40s again. Fall has arrived.
