Snowy, temps have been rising a bit. Right now, 27F. Lows tonight 19F.

It doesn't get above freezing all week, a couple of times it will get down to single digits F.

Bone-chillingly cold. Only 9 degrees Celsius, but it's incredibly arid which lets the chill seep into the body. Yet the sky is perpetually this wonderfully clear blue. Japanese winter is something else. : )

Sunny, but not overly warm. We had our high for the day last night, when I awoke this morning it was about 25 degrees and it's been sinking since. Right now, just about 19F, sinking to 5F tonight.

Canisee, I reckon that is cold for Newport News.

Here in the Western 'Burbs of Chicago, it got down to -3F last night, it's 18F right now and will get back down to 11F tonight. Fortunately the sub-zero is behind us for the immediate moment.

North Dakota is laughing at both of us, we can't take a little cold. It got down to -20 and isn't going to get terribly warm for a spell.

We have a Nor'Easter headed for New England and are expecting up to 15 inches of snow through tomorrow morning,
with temps in the single digits (wind chill @ 0)

It's about 30F, snowing. We'll get three or four inches before it's done. Then it'll get colder tonight.

I had a trip planned for today, visiting a relative, but I may have to call it off. A trip to the bank just now was a bit scary. The anti-lock brakes activated in such a way that stopping was impossible twice, the first time it didn't matter because nothing was in front of me but the second time a pickup truck was stopped at the sign, and it was only by steering into the curb that I avoided hitting him. It's slick as an oiled pane of glass out there and if you don't have to drive in it you have to not drive in it.

We just ended up with @ 10 inches.
I feel badly Jim had to handle it all himself
Thankfully it was light!

Today is very cold @ 25 , and cloudy with occasional flurries.

Our weather report is simple, it will remain pretty much the same every day from now until Mid May

I must keep in mind Antarctica is colder than North Dakota and we really do not have the Harshest weather on Earth
