Heavy weather is coming, the weatherman suggests pitching the tent on high ground and constructing a log raft. Interest in arks and the meaning of a "cubit" are possible.

OK, we're under flash-flood watch this afternoon, heavy rain, hail and damaging winds this afternoon and early evening. Standard viaducts flooding, the Des Plaines river, Salt Creek, and the Fox river could all overflow this evening. We're on high ground here but I'd bet on the sump-pump getting a workout tonight.
