Sunny today, but cooler than yesterday. Right now, 39F going to maybe 48F.

Tonight, we might get rain. Tomorrow, warmer but rainy, highs in the 60sF.

Edit: Add-on: I've had to use a heater on occasion while sleeping in the palatial McMillan Manor (the back of the van). Judging from the forecast, I think maybe another week and then I'll mothball the Big Buddy heater until November.

It's rainy today, right now it's 56F going to 65F.

Most of the rain seems to have passed for the moment, and a look at the radar shows that Grandma Doolittle is getting wet but no worse at the moment--- then things look clear for a bit (Weatherbug radar and the Internet is a wonder).

Of course, as the day heats up the situation may change and it seems that part of Missouri does get a bit more violent weather than I do up near Chicago.

A bit of weather info-- you've heard of Tornado Alley. That includes mostly Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and part of Missouri. Then there's "Hoosier Alley" which gets hit with tornadoes frequently enough too. It includes a major portion of Missouri, Downstate Illinois, Downstate Indiana and the lower sections of Ohio. Almost forgot Kentucky, can't forget that. Follow the Ohio River, go 100 miles either side of that, and figure a couple hundred miles of Missouri into that as well, and that's "Hoosier Alley" tornado country.
