It's too cold for FL. Too many plants dying. Skin on hands cracking. But we are having good hair days!

it is COLD with icy gusts of wind...yet it was delightful walking home tonight....the streets were deserted haha love it....and i caught a glimpse of my star up above...it wasn't Venus..it was a star, twinkling oh so brightly....

It's so cold here there's ice on the roofs and on our vehicles. Hubby went to hose it off, and the water wouldn't flow from the hose - guess it froze! That has NEVER happened here in all my life.

We've been averaging 40s in the daytime and low 30s at night. However, they tell us we will have a couple of days in the mid 60s later this week. I'll believe it when I see it.

It's going to be warmer here too, though I don't believe we are going to have any rain.
We saw ice again this morning. Who would have thought FL would look like a winter wonderland? And the thing about our cold is the humidity - 85% when it is only 30. That makes it feel much colder. We're always surprised when we visit other places, see the temp. and it doesn't feel very cold.

The weatherman was right - it's 67F here today and expected to hit 70F tomorrow. It is very pleasant, but I doubt we'll have it for long.

Hmmm, the earthquake.. Missms, did you feel that when it hit last year? I didn't, but I was driving at the time so I probably wouldn't have noticed it. My sister said it made her dog bark but that was about it. Low level stuff, it made dogs bark and people say "What was that?". I had occasion to drive past the epicenter a few days later and you'd never know there had been an earthquake. Not so much as a broken window.

It's around 50 right now, rainy. Cooling down this evening.
Revisiting earthquakes: I hadn't heard about the temblor that happened near Kokomo, Indiana until this morning. It was about 3.5 on the scale, mostly it caused people to call 911 to report an explosion in the area. Little damage, no injuries unless you count nerves. It happened Thursday morning. We have a regular here who lives near there, it might not be a bad idea to keep him in our prayers.
