Snowing and very windy. My plastic table blew over the railing of my balcony yesterday (before it started snowing) and landed about 20m away. It's totally smashed, and I've only found 3 of the 4 legs so far...

We do, only venture outside for shopping and family visits
oh! and to top-up the wildlife feeders, in the back garden

This season, we have the NEW combi-boiler

The weather here is moderate-- for Chicago-- over the next couple of days. Lows in the 20s, highs in the low 30s. We have a white Christmas, for what it's worth.

28 degrees F, we're under a storm watch. Living near the lake can have its advantages, but when the wind is right that advantage can mean lots of snow.

Tonight, the wind is right to blow Lake Effect snow across the Western and Northwestern 'Burbs of Chicago. The wind picks up warmth and moisture over the lake and then dumps it, in the form of snow at this time of year, over the colder land. Usually in this area Northwest Indiana gets it, but tonight it's our turn.

MissmsDancerama, after you're finished with the snowblower can I use it??? Thanks. (Note, this is a joke. I live in an apartment complex and ground maintenance takes care of that kind of thing.)

Right now, it's 23F here and dry, but it's expected to get down to 16F tonight. I'm glad the wind died down some because it's going to be COLD. Everyone try to stay warm.

Sounds like snow all over doesn't it? I don't know where some of you are but it sounds COLD. Here in coastal NC it's snowing about 3" more as you go inland. Not too cold in the 30's but that's cold for here. Everyone just be safe if you have to be out in it.
