It is cold and raw with high wind warnings.... and we had our first snowfall (it has now changed over to rain)

Low of 55 and overcast this morning, but now the sun is shining brightly and it is 78F, or 25C. I'm in Florida.

Thank you to all. It's interesting to see what it is like where you are.

It IS interesting to note how much difference there is from one area to the next. We had a pretty cool night (for Texas) last Friday night. I think it got in the 30's. We probably had "frost on some pumpkins" in the area as we did have frost! Some areas may have seen a freeze. We typically don't get a first freeze until LATE November.

It is warmer this week....much to my distaste. As you might have noticed, I don't like heat. I prefer cooler temps. Yeah, I know. I live in the wrong part of the country for my preferences. However, I don't like snow either because it's hard to get around in it. Of course, I think that may actually be worse when it snows in the south cause we're not very accustomed to it.I dunno. I might like living just a bit further north like Tom does, in Oklahoma.

We are really just now beginning to see some "fall color."

Continual rain all week long..I am not singing in it! Hopefully it will clear up for our weekend drive to a conference on the coast. Lightning there yesterday.

Very bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky kind of day. It was in the mid 40s in the a.m. and it is forecast to reach near 80 today.

We're getting a little shower and the temperature is dropping. It may be down to 70 now. Come on cool weather!

We've had wild up and down temperatures here in the last several days. One day it went from near 80 in the day to 32 at night with a 40 mph wind. Now we're back up in the 70s but we carry jackets with us just in case it goes wild again.

It's quite warm these past few days with intermittent rain. It 's beginning to clear now and today will be warm again, high around 85. A cool front is on the way and tomorrow will be in the 70s.

I'm hoping that our wild temperature and weather changes are settling down into normal Fall weather. It's 47F here right now, and we have a small chance of light snow in the next couple of days.

It is such a beautiful day here, that I called in sick to work. I call it preventative maintenance. I knew that if I went to work, and the day kept getting more beautiful by the minute, that it would make me sick. I don't want to be sick!
