Heat is bad enuf! - but when we lived in humid FLA , I fainted often!
--- now
here, (tho still find things to complain about, poor! Heavenly Father),
at least we are spared all that agonizing humidity, & therefore less heat too.

River, I thought sure I was going to get wet yesterday too--- but it seems the heavy weather bypassed us and headed for you.

Right now, it's 90, sunny but with a breeze blowing.

Taking it a bit easier today, that four-wheeled broiler I call my truck could cook a steak-- and I should know, because I felt well done after a day's work.

i'm sooooooo thankful i got an air conditioner now...i just got in from work and turned it on...

At 1:30 AM, it's 81F with a heat index of 84F. The forecast tomorrow is 98F, and I'm sure that our current humidity will make that feel much hotter. We do have an air conditioner and we plan to use it. We might even use a sun shade - INSIDE.

Expected to reach 110 degrees here. At the moment at 9 am it is 97 degrees. Thank God for Air conditioners and pools. It is so very quiet here no one is out except early morning and late evening. Still enjoying our stay though.

Glad you are enjoying your stay. You are in the Phoenix area right? Yes, AZ can get blazing hot. I had a friend that lives in Bullhead, AZ and she says it quite regularly tops 120ºF.
