That humidity must have been horrible - it's how I imagine the deep South to be in the summer, not the PNW! BTW I rated your post as "funny" because of the way you wrote it, but you have my sympathy too!

Comfortable temps here (NW England) but very cloudy with some breeze this afternoon.

No problem; I wrote it with humor; if you can't do anything bout the weather; at least you can laugh at it.

It has been very dry here. The grass on many lawns is yellow/brown, like straw. The last 4 days have been in the low 90's. The highest temperature was on June 22-93F .(34C). We finally had some light rain overnight, but hardly enough.

Up here we have had sunny weather, my wife was sun burnt cutting the grass.

Very hot night and day, although it has cooled down this evening (Friday) so sleeping should be easier.

We had some rain yesterday and last night, but hardly enough. The high temperature yesterday was only 74, kept down by rain and clouds.

We have had lots and lots of rain, some parts of the UK have had 10 weeks of rain in one day! The Lake district I believe, sounds as if there will be flooding.
