CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We're just into the last month of Spring here* and right now (2.20pm) it's a clear and hot 33degC (92degF). Humidity is tolerable at 41%. The sky is so blue it hurts your eyes. It's going to be a hot summer.

38F / 3C for a high today up here in the North. Not bad for this time of year.
Tonight 25F / -3C for a low.
No snow on the ground, but have a 50% chance of light rain or snow.
This looks like one of the last days above freezing for a high temperature. Winter has arrived and I'm sure it will look like it before long.

The forecast here is 31F for a high and freezing rain in Central Oklahoma. Thankfully, the temperatures are forecast to be warmer in the coming days. We have what we need and won't be going anywhere.

Our forecast is very strange for Monday. We're supposed to have a blizzard, but the temperatures aren't going to get low enough to have significant snow accumulation. The temperature will be high enough in the late afternoon to melt what does manage to accumulate. The show starts in the morning.

The thing I have liked today has been the golden glow when the sun has come out.
Half my line of washing dried, then the heavens opened and the rain poured down.
And then because we are in the foothills of the Pennine chain, the sun came out again...
