CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thank you for the prayers. We got a good rain early this morning, and we have another chance for rain tonight. Thank you Lord.
It's 88F and partly cloudy here in Central Oklahoma today. It's actually very pleasant.

Was 74F here, some clouds and some sun, but the rain missed us, yay! We did hear thunder when the wife and I were out picking wild choke cherries along our gravel road. The berry crop this year is amazing, we picked almost 2 gallons of berries in 2 hours! I can taste the chokecherry syrup on my pancakes already!

We had a downpour today and the temps have cooled slightly. A hosepipe ban was due last Sunday but was called off. Praise God for answers to prayer for rain for those of us who said, in the above posts, that our areas needed it.
