Our forecast callls for 90s over the next week and then some triple digits. We going to have the a/c checked out before then.

It's going to be a "burner" throughout central Texas all weekend. Temps in the mid to high 90's every day through Monday, with no rain in site. I really don't like summer, and this is only the beginning.

It's 83F right now and forecast to hit 92F today in Central Oklahoma. It's a beautiful day.

We've had a warm, dry spell with temps in the mid 20s C (70s F, I think). It has been very pleasant, but I've tended to stay indoors during the hotter parts of the day. Evenings are lovely. It has been a great time for getting heavy items washed and dried outside, but the plants have needed watering every night.

The site was down when I tried to post. Sunday it was 96F at 6:00 PM; the heat index was 100F. Normal temperatures this time of year are in the 70s.

I didn't go outside to water my flowers. Some of them are on their deathbeds. But the moonflower vines sprouted! I was shocked!

I'm so excited because I haven't grown them for a couple of decades!

Still toasty in Texas. We are expecting a "cold front" to move through today though which will drop the high temperatures down into the low 90's.
