We've had fog all morning and now it's very dense. School was delayed for 2 hours. How will the school buses get the children home

The news yesterday and today is all about the mass shooting in Florida. My neice lives in the same county.

Thank you. I'm sure my niece and her family are safe in their town and the killer has been caught. She has no children in high school. When I first saw the news I felt sick to my stomach because I don't want this violence to happen to anyone's children.

you are quite right to be concerned and to pray. It has been so upsetting to think of the suffering and grieving of the parents, my heart goes out to the Lord for them...

That is really cute. I've never in my life been on a sled. Had we lived in the north my mother wouldn't have spent the money for one. We didn't have bicycles either.

And, it's still DRY here. Most of our state is under a burn-ban, and we've had more than our share of wild fires partly due to our drought conditions.

Have you seen the US weather map, Tom? They are predicting lots of flooding from Arkansas to northern Indiana. Flooding usually starts in April, but it will be early this year.

No, I haven't paid much attention to national weather unless it was something big like a hurricane. Arkansas is several hundred miles NE of us. I will be praying for them.

A couple of dry days Thurs and Fri and, although it's been cold, I've enjoyed being out in them. Forecast much the same as Dave's, as I use Manchester's unless I can get something more local. Still cold indoors.
