Actually we've had a couple of drier cooler days. A couple of nights ago the sky was a sort of midnight blue, the moon just over a half-moon and the stars twinkling merrily. It was cold, but I love those sort of evenings when walking or just looking at the stars for a few moments. It's got milder since and this afternoon/evening has been mainly dry. Temps 9C, 48ish F now.

That sounds soooo lovely! Yes it is about 7c here, feels about 3c and going to be cold tonight...but...we saw the sun today and had a short walk, all wrapped up..

We had a high today of 66F. It was sunny and gorgeous.

It was cold here too, but I woke up hot, probably because the sun was streaming in. Today it has been dry, and I did the final pruning in the garden as I think rain is forecast for tomorrow (Wed). I think temps are going to drop and we may have snow again.

yes, last night's snow was a surprise, it did not pitch
because we then had sleet not ten minutes, later

Overnight, it must have fallen much heavier
because everywhere looks like a desert, dotted with tumbleweeds
(?) all covered in a dense coat of snow
whilst, the ground between-them
is wet and dark and in places mirroring the grey skies
in puddles from the thawing


but hey ho and away it goes \o/

THURSDAY: Windy. Snow flurries and a few snow showers throughout the day. Morning high of 32F with temps falling to near 20. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

FRIDAY: Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. High 19F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

The Landlord, has contractors replacing, our 'rotten' garden fencing
and for most of a week now, I haven't been able
to release the dogs to the front garden
because of 'removed portions' of the 'old fencing' and now
I await installation of the 'new gating'
~once the concrete has cured around the new gate posts
