CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I guess I never posted that we did end up with 6 or 7 inches of fresh new powder snow Wednesday into Thursday. A crisp 15F below right now. Beautiful view of the stars and milky way God created on a crisp clear night.

Two days this week the temp. was in the 60's. Yesterday it was in the 30's, and today the temp. is in the teens, with an inch of snow.

Snowing heavily again, adding to our snowpack. It was 29 F below last night, up to 1 F now.
We still have the snow from before Christmas, which is typical. The snow is starting to get pretty deep in the woods and walking is pretty difficult without snowshoes. I walked off in the road ditch yesterday to check some trees and snow was past my knees.

I wanted to share a picture of my snow outside
but it did not work out so my bears are snow friends so ... it's cold outside with about 4 inches of snow on the ground but I have to DRIVE in it so, keep me in prayer as I travel to work today ...

There was about 2 inches of snow over the weekend. Snow showers are expected tonight into Tues. morning, 1-3 inches, and temps. to get colder in mid-week. Then temps. to be warmer for the weekend, in the 30's and 40's.

Cloudy, cold, windy, and raining...actually freezing rain. The high today was 38 (around 1 AM) and the low today will be around 22. A beautiful day to stay inside and do absolutely nothing.

It looks like there is about 4-5 inches of snow today, temp. in the teens and wind chill at 0, to get colder temp. tonight and wind chill below zero. The weekend and next week is expected to be warmer and early springlike temps., 30's to 50's or 60.

It snowed last night, but I was sad to see that it had gone by midday. Temps a little above freezing, as there was no ice when I walked to the shops. I love being in town in winter, with the fresher weather, and the shop lights so cheerful.

it snowed yesterday, even though we usually get snow like once or twice a year in southern louisiana...it was very cold today and its cold tonight but its suppose to be warm this weekend and next week...looking forward to that...i really dont like winter...
