CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We had a cold (cool) front blow through a couple of hours ago. The temperature dropped about 15 degrees and the winds are gusting from the north at 20-30 mph. High temps tomorrow should be in the high 50's-low 60's. Looking forward to some fall-like weather.

The weatherman says we will have a high of 60F and a low of 44F today. It will be sunny and partly cloudy. Autumn is trying real hard to get here in Central Oklahoma.

It's cloudy and a little chilly across Central Texas this morning. The temperature is 52 degree and we are expecting a high around 60...not much sun again today.

Just under 10C (50F) daytime, dropping to 5 tonight. Apparently freezing temps are on the way Sunday, but only for about 24hours. Grey skies, sunshine and showers have all made their appearance this week.
