CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's 81F right now in Central Oklahoma. I don't think that it will make our forecast high of 93F. We had a nice rain this morning and another one just now. Thank you Lord.

It's been raining here on and off almost all day. It's raining now, and we have more in the forecast. I think that we're close to having all the rain that we need. Thank you Lord.

We have severe thunderstorms in our forecast for tonight and the following morning. I've been asking questions about our water supplies for this and surrounding cities and was told that we've got plenty. Thank you Lord. We lived through a drought before moving here, so we're very happy to have plenty of rain.

It's 91F and sunny today in Central Oklahoma. We have a forecast for heavy thunderstorms tonight and cooler temperatures to continue for a week. It's usually over 100F for this time of year. We like it - thank you Lord.
