  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Less sun over the last few days, but mainly dry. I was told that a town about 10 miles away had a storm, but unless I slept through it we didn't have it here. Temps a little cooler, but still warm; high 60s to mid 70s I think (we get them in C) depending on the time of day. Quite pleasant really.

When I go outside it feels like the oven is ready for the biscuits. (450f)
97f @ 1:40p feels like temp is 114 lotta clouds lotta sun very still not a ripple on the pond. May rain later. I say may.

Pleasant again today. A little rain this afternoon, but not much, otherwise fairly warm, mainly with cloud. Slightly cooler tonight - in the 60s I think.

I consider the high 60s and low 70s to be the perfect temperature - not too hot and not too cold. I love your kind of weather, and we might see something like it in the Fall. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year.

It's 99F here today - cooler than the weatherman said it would be.

It's my favourite time too , although we haven't had such hot summers as you. We are blessed with our temperate climate, despite having a great deal of rain. Sometimes summers can be very wet! However it keeps the countryside beautifully green.
