Some of you are having very low temps!

It has got milder in the UK. About 8C here 40s F I think. Rain forecasted for the next few days, so no white Christmas for us, but in view of what some of you are going through I feel thankful.

They never mentioned it. My grandmother's sister told me, bur I'm sure it was. You and I both know that driving on ice is insanely hazardous. And my Dad was from San Antonio..

It is cold today! I live in the foothills of the Pennine chain. The hills look beautiful covered in snow, but we are protected, so just a dusting of snow for us. but it is so cold. Warm and cozy inside so that is where I am staying today!

Indoor warmth is wonderful in January! Isn't it?

Next Wed. we're supposed to get 3 and 1/2 inches of snow. I don't think I'll be able to shovel, but I'm expecting a ride the next morning (doctor's appointment). Maybe it won't snow if I pray about it.

Was 78 today! Beautiful out, got leaves raked in the back yard. Got to wear short sleeves. Still 68 at 7:30 PM. Alas, tomorrow the high is supposed to be only 45. But we're supposed to get some much needed rain.
