Last night, about 2 a.m., there was a thunderstorm the likes of which I have never seen: brilliant sheet lightening and almost constant thunder. The rest of the time - warm muggy weather, with some sun.

Those temperatures seem so high to me Tom.

A week ago we had a couple of very hot days but now it has cooled to more comfortable temps - today 22C (low 70s F). During the week we have had a great deal of rain, and a dam not many miles away burst part of its walls.

Our temperatures have been close to 100F and will remain so for the next several days according to the weatherman. The humidity has made things feel like between 105F and 110F. It other words, it's HOT! We did have a small rain early this morning, and that was pleasant.

Went out taking an umbrella - in case..., sun glasses - in case...., and it was neither wet nor sunny - it was windy!

It's 78F and very pleasant right now in Central Oklahoma. HOWEVER, we had a rough night. We had numerous storms with winds in the 70 to 80 mph range, and two thought to be caused by small tornadoes. We still have many people without electricity today, and some won't get electricity for several days. God took care of us, and we give thanks.
