Damian (a local PCSO) stopped for a chat with me
as I saw him riding by on his bicycle, while on my way in from the bins
He derided the weather, saying that it has now "been raining, every day for two months now"
I couldn't disagree with him, replying that I am waiting, for a break in it
so that I can put up the outside Christmas lights... Electric and water do not mix at-all safely

watch-out Sue, you are not far away

It certainly has been windy for about 24 hours! It was very gusty, but dry, when I was out earlier, and I can still hear it.

No snow all-weekend, and even the rain has held-off today (ie: so-far \o/)

Finished installing the inflatable Father Christmas and a pair of snowmen over the front Porch
I may give the 'outside-lights' a miss, this year, it is so windy ( shame, to have them damaged)

Went out with Mary and three of our neighbours for a 'slap-up' at a Pub Restaurant
this afternoon (about 8 miles away) I had coffee, as I do not Drink & Drive
Everyone enjoyed themselves although Mary's ice-cream gave her abdominal pain
for about twenty minutes (I suspect a duodenal ulcer)
She is prescribed 'Buscopan', so maybe my diagnosis is also shared with physicians

Barring the unexpected, I am off to Bristol at the weekend (down one-day and back the next)

My sister is unwell and I wish to see my granddaughters, before Christmas

I did laugh sahjimira! :) That would be very mild for this time of year for us. It has been mild though until last night when there was a light frost. I think the temps are getting colder.
