Rugs are expensive...i wonder what the best one to buy is. Those persian rugs look nice. I dont know about the shaggy rugs they look hard to clean.

My brother once gave me a sheepskin rug but it got ruined when a dog i was housesitting for decided she liked it better.

Also whats the difference between a rug and a mat. I need one for the living room, the carpet is threadbare...and maybe one for my room as its getting into winter and Ive got no carpet there.

think I may go out today shopping, at the new mall since the bookshop in the old mall closed down and there is now no place to check out new books except for the Warehouse which has just generic books.

But meh, I really don't like going up there as the parking is terrible.

list - storage boxes, rug, books on pruning...

I dont think we have Ikea here.
Well, not anywhere near me, but it is the fashion to have swedish furniture these days. I do think nice simple lines for decor is good but I don't know about all the animal heads....

I need to get more storage boxes as dad still has heaps of stuff to be boxed.
Also, TP! 3 ply.

huh, our household likes its little luxuries.

if I could ever figure out for sure what knife I want then I can finally buy one. i'm thinking I should go to the local pawn shop first, maybe I will get lucky and find a low costing knife made from a great steel like cpm3v, but I doubt it. I had the chance to get a GSO 5.1 but I freaked out cause I could not decide if I should get a stainless steel or the cpm3v tool steel. heck I could not decide on what color and type of handle to get, though now I think it will be the g10 blue and black handle. they were all gone in like.. 30 mins.. :( there are so many different +'s and -'s with knives, it makes it so hard to decide what I want.

or I could wait for the price to drop again on the 5050 Survival Knife, which is the knife that our government gives to the navy seals. it's made of elmax stainless steel and is 1/4 an inch thick. the lowest I have seen it drop to is 275$ :,(

or maybe I should just be sane and wait for the price to drop really low on a bk32, sometimes they can even sell for 60$, the price is kind of high with them atm, 85$~, I don't wanna pay that much after i hear everyone saying they cost 60$, supply and demand I guess. but everyone says that the handles suck, plus the tang is skeletonized which i don't like but.. I doubt I could break it. the color of the handles is one of my fav colors too but if the handles are as bad as people say I would have to cough up like, 40 extra $ for decent handles.

orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I could get a esee 5 which cost a bit more but is better out of the box... noooooooooooooooooooo whyyy can't I decideeeeeeeeeeeeee

I do like it when you find something at a discount. But shops already mark up their products so much that twenty percent off isnt that much, even half price is probably the actual cost of the item.

As for knives, have no idea about what a good one would be but not sure I would buy one secondhand, if it wasn't new in its box you dont know where its been.

Its a good idea to pray about your purchases so you arent wasting any money, I found that, if I acknowledge God in the little things even shopping, He directs me to the treasures.

I am bummed I only got $20 for it. I should have bargained for more but I really just wanted to be rid of it and it was better than nothing!

Plus the item I wanted at the store wasn't there so I couldn't buy it anyway, and also think with the nutribullets they have buy one get one free deals so maybe just pray that someone who did that will give one to me?! Surely people don't need two....

bought a garden arch for the garden and will get reimbursed. The arch we did have broke because children were playing monkey bars on it. I hope they don't do it again.

Shopping list: Ingredients for tacos.

Mmm nice. Are tacos more popular then burritos there? I always find taco shells difficult to eat because they always break to pieces, so I always use burrito wraps instead.

yeah tacos.. I just decided that it's easier to put corn chips in a bowl along with the rest of the taco toppings and eat them like that. it was a life changing idea. where there are tacos there are sure to be burritos near by.

I prefer soft tacos (taco filling in a soft tortilla) because they don't break. But the girl I like prefers hard shell tacos.

So... I'm looking for ingredients for both.

Philosophy for Understand Theology - Diogenes Allen
I'm surprised to see this name. I found his book Three Outsiders, examining the lives and philosophies of Pascal, Kierkegaard, and Weil, at a thrift store awhile back.

Books:
The Art of Biblical Narrative by Robert Alter
The Art of Biblical Poetry by Robert Alter
The InterVarsity Dictionary of the Old Testament: The Prophets

Essential Oils:
Thuja occidentalis
Ravensara
Pinus pinaster
Styrax benzoin
(still unsure of this one)

Oakmoss Absolute

new car (just joking), well I am meant to be window shopping for one. I won't buy one though as my car runs and is pretty good. But it could be fun to test drive the new models.
