We have renovated three rooms...just need the new flooring put in which my husband will start tomorrow. Renovating has been a balm to our grieved hearts. My husband lost his beautiful momma on August 1st unexpectedly. Our hearts just ache.
So sorry to hear of his loss. As I lost my mom in April, I can relate. It’s tough.

Make sure he takes the time to properly grieve. If he bottles up his feelings, they will come out later, and perhaps in odd or unwelcome ways.

It's really a bit scary how many people misinterpret the Bible, especially when it comes to gender issues, and marriage. :/
Indeed it is. And a whole lot of other issues as well.

Reread a 90s Venom/Spider-Man comic last night (also featuring the first Scarlett Spider (Ben Reily) and Carnage), was a lot of fun. Not that great or consistent, but fun.

Annnnd job hunting.

I just finished watching and episode of a new talent show created recently called The Four. Has anyone else heard of it? Pretty decent show and the raw talent the people on the show have is great.
Its on Fox so I see ads for it every week during So You Think you can Dance.

I think this is the 2nd season of The 4.

Yeah James Graham won and beat a Rapper name Sharayah J who was battling breast cancer since the first episode. She announced she was cancer free right before they announced the winner. They just finished the second season.

Being someone who sings a lot myself I enjoy the show.

What do you think of So You Think You Can Dance?

Love it. We have watched all 15 seasons.

Frankly, I prefer the format they had in the first few seasons. they keep cutting it back.

But they do have Twitch (Stephen Boss) on as one of the panel judges this year. He is one of my all time favorites of the contestants over the years, along with Travis Wall and Benji Schwimmer.

I would have to agree with you on that.
I like watching it myself.

Have you watched dancing with the Stars?

No. I liked Nigel's comment on that show: "They will have to start calling it 'Dancing with Celebrities.' All the stars are here."

Just curious, I'm not really a fan of it myself.

I went to Miami this week to meet new people I'll be working with, and now I'm home. What a fun city, but not sure I could live there year round. I'm off to find a Cuban cafe today, and tryyyying to get my husband to go with me. lol

Hope it goes well AND that he went with you!

New episode on the podcast is up. Normally, I enjoy editing - but I borderline hated it this week lol. For an episode clocking at 63mins, it was roughly 4.5 hours of editing from two audio files over three days, it was rough haha. But, praise God, the response is good (which is encouraging), the dude I interviewed posted it on his podcast which has a much larger audience than mine, and it's getting shared a bit, which is very exciting.
