  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Husband has taken over a lot of the house for me so I can rest after work each day. I haven’t been able to cook since getting pregnant because of the smells, and working so many hours is wiping me out. Even though he started a new job yesterday, he still took over dinner for me.

It’s a girl! I’m so excited! And they told me that the rest of my appointments can take place in regular clinic, not hospital. I should only have one or two more left with the high risk team, then back to my normal OB for the rest of the pregnancy.

It has been a difficult week, learning about what happened in Ulvade Texas this week. I can't believe it. It's absolutely heartbreaking. My husband and I don't yet have children, but I can only imagine. My prayers go out to all the families, as well as praying for gun reform.

My husband and I had a nice weekend...it just goes by too fast.
