CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think Ray's doing okay; she's active on Skype a lot and sometimes logs on Discord. Haven't talked to her in a couple months though.

Going to be putting up some outdoor Christmas lights in a few minutes. I heard others around the country were putting them back up to spread cheer in spite of the virus outbreak, and I think neighbors in my area are doing the same.

That is an amazing idea!!!! That really is great. Especially now with all this pandemic thing. The lights remind people of christmas. The joyful holidays, just a way to associate things to something good as opposed to the bad things we are dealing with right now. So I get it.

It could have been a nuclear fall out really, we got lucky. Something HAD to happen.
Anyway, that's my final word on the subject. I'm actually starting to lose the will to live, the hysteria will kill us before anything else does. Just play the game and chill out.
