Wow, seems like everyone I know is having strange dreams lately. I wonder why.

Maybe we tend to have strange dreams. I had one myself last night where I was a little kid and was playing Kirby 64, but the game was totally different.

Oh, that's awesome!!! Do you ever share them here? I sometimes like to draw/sketch too!! Been trying to practice more lately.

Good way, bad way?

Well, it was in a B-A-D way but then I went to my scary doc's appointment and God used that time to change my attitude. By the time I got home God had given me peace about it.

On a very good note: I have to give God a lot of praise! I was scared today, but God got me through a scary doctor's appointment and in the end I received good news! Everything is clear, I've lost some more weight, and I appear to be healthy. Thank God that no matter what we face in life, no matter whether we get a good report or a bad one, God is with us and he will NOT fail us or leave us.

WOMM: Been working on a new project since yesterday (one of many planned), and I'm starting to get back into procedural generation, which I've been really excited about; it's definitely become a passion of mine. There's so much you can do with pseudo-randomness in both gaming and software in general - this is the result of a custom fractal noise algorithm I've been developing:


It'll be used to generate near-infinite terrain, along with possible caves and animated clouds. The algorithm has taken a couple years to get right, but generates rather quickly with decent results.

This is awesome Anthonyterrains! Love the textures! I can tell it was a lot of work, but it turned out great.

I had a strange dream myself last night that seemed to come out of no where. I was stuck in a zoo because I was a pirate (and was even dressed up as one), and my pirate buddies weren't locked up with me for some reason. But, the staff eventually found out I wasn't really a pirate, and let me go. I then, with remorse, said goodbye to the pirate captain, and returned back to my family.... I know dreams are supposed to reflect what you think about during the day or real life occurrences, but where in the world did that come from?? I certainly haven't been thinking about pirates lately, nor engaged in any sorts of piracy.

30 mins and my work week is done.....










Days off...

As for me, 12 more hours tomorrow morning and I will be off for what I called the "big weekend" of the shift schedule rotation period of 4 weeks. It always ends on a Friday day shift and then you have 96 hours off before having to come back on Tuesday night shift. Then it "starts over" to me from there and in another 4 weeks I will be at the "last day" before the "big weekend" (just my little terms; it helps to see that 96 hours off at the "end" as a big reward). Sorry I am probably confusing everyone trying to describe this.

Well, I haven't thought about the cosmos beyond planet Earth in any way for a long time either, but that didn't stop me from dreaming the other night about being able to see into it through a great tear in the ozone layer signaling the end of the entire world by morning. =/


So, you were in a zoo that has pirates for display? Was this ... a zoo for various kinds of humans and not animals?

Well, thanks to @ImAllLikeOkWaitWat 's intervention via this ASMR trend when I suffered from insomnia one night a few months ago I also found this on YT last evening while trying to get to bed.

This girl is not only cute and plays the part of a demure and outgoing innkeeper of pleasant disposition very well, but if you turn up the volume and listen closely, it's like she actually managed to create an entire fantasy world out there beyond the "inn" in her pretend dialogue with the listener to her video. So, Goodnight Moon is a new favorite of mine. ^-^

Fellow RPG fans here such as @kittysbecute might especially like seeing this one, because of the atmosphere she creates in this video.

Well, thanks to @ImAllLikeOkWaitWat 's intervention via this ASMR trend when I suffered from insomnia one night a few months ago I also found this on YT last evening while trying to get to bed.

I've also fallen asleep to Bluewhispers, Latte and TingTing as well...

I've listened to everything from ASMR to hypnosis videos all up and down youtube to help with my inability to sleep so often. Which is why I chose to work the second shift instead of first..... it allows me to fall asleep at my bodies more natural sleep time 1am-3am without damage.

So, you were in a zoo that has pirates for display? Was this ... a zoo for various kinds of humans and not animals?

I don't think it was technically a "pirate zoo". The dream started with me locked up in a display, and there were various animals there too, so I guess it was just a normal zoo. There were some other strange things that happened too, but overall the dream made absolutely no sense haha. The pirate captain also looked a lot like Captain Morgan.
