Thanks for the prayers everyone. I don't know what's wrong with me. It happened again yesterday. It's like I'll feel pretty much okay all day, but then in the evening I'll suddenly fall into this awful and uncontrollable feeling of sadness and hopelessness. After about an hour I suddenly snap out of it and feel okay the rest of the night.

Unfortunately these kinds of problems are not so uncommon or unseemly, Miss Multi. Many of us suffer from them and in this fallen world the brain is a hard-to-understand organ.

Thanks for your support guys. My anxiety medication does have depression and mood changes as one of the side effects so I wonder if it could be the problem. But is it possible to start having side effects after over a year?

Even though I have dual nationality/heritage I usually identify myself as South African. But with England having made it through to the semi-finals of the World Cup I think I'm going to revert to being English for the remainder of the tournament (not that I really needed to make a choice as South Africa didn't qualify).

Yes, I would imagine side effects can actually show up belatedly in some cases, after the body's acclamation to the medication rather than right away. I am no doctor, though. But have you spoken to your provider about this, Knightess? That the side effects only just now seem to show themselves? And that there is a general pattern as to when they do each day? This could be important for him or her to know.

I think in this region there is actually a channel dedicated solely to movies about Norman Bates stalkers and psychotic boy/girlfriends terrorizing the lives of woefully unlucky lovers. Because this is the third such movie in a row that has shown up since I turned on the tv for background noise this morning.

Yes, I think I will have to tell my doctor about this. Even though this particular feeling has only been going on since Thursday, pretty much, I have noticed some random changes in my mood and getting into moods that I can't get out of easily for the past 9 months or so. Didn't think about the possible side effects until now.

Now the current movie still involves a lover straight from Hell, but one who has already won his partner's trust and was planning her death all along, and with another twist; he is conspiring with the owners of the bed and breakfast inn to drive his newlywed wife to suicide out of fear while they are staying there, using a local ghost story to terrorize her ... and, uhh, somehow they will all get a lot of money out of this when she kills herself. Haven't quite figured out how that part works, yet.

I wonder if the only other guest there, a young and pretty single blonde who seems nice enough but is clearly a drunkard, is aware of this conspiracy or is going to be another victim, herself. Of course, I am sure it will turn out that the ghost of interest here will turn out to be for real even though the murderers believe they are merely making the wife see things.

I believe this movie is called "Honeymoon From Hell".

Once in a while when I play Smash Bros. Brawl, I turn the music in the game off and play with music on my laptop and/or on Youtube instead. I've been playing through most of the Subspace Emissary stages like that again the last few days. Fun!!

And I'm playing my favorite characters in the game there: Yoshi, Kirby, Pikachu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Lucario, Sonic, Ice Climbers, Toon Link, Samus, and Zero Suit Samus.

I just recently discovered that you can actually turn the music off in Smash Bros. Melee as well. I've never tried that.
