I don't know why God allows any of the things He has allowed in my life, and I don't understand how all of this serves His purpose.
Christianity is very avoidant. Lots of poo poo and there there. Feel good messages that won’t ruffle feathers or hurt someone’s feelings. No wonder so many are in bondage. You can’t be liberated with that.
The truth isn’t always pretty. Some things are messed up. Window dressing doesn’t alter it. When you’re willing to speak the truth without shame you can reach the lost, hurting, confused etc.
Some people don’t know the way out. But a lot of folks don’t want to climb. They want God to pluck them out of their circumstances. They don’t want the cross. They want it easy. They don’t grasp the spiritual value of suffering and adversity. And as a result they’re weak.
They need to be toughened up. Satan’s not scared of them. They’re not a threat. You’re only a threat when you use what you’ve got. Your strength is an ability to tell the truth without shame. There’s a spiritual principle that accompanies it. Only truth sets a man free.
Once you have the truth you’re ready to battle. You can stand against your weaknesses and strongholds. You can’t pray a problem away you can’t admit you have. You can’t walk in an anointing or knowing you don’t possess.
There’s a lot of people who feel like you. They’re too ashamed to admit their doubts and apathy. More than a few are mad at God. Remaining in flesh weakens you. The game is spiritual and the world is chessboard. What piece are you?
One of the best things God did for me was let me suffer. When He delivered me I asked Him why. He sent me to Job. I was strong in the natural. He made me strong in the spiritual through that experience and others like it.
You can’t walk in Christ consciousness in the flesh. You can’t step in the enemies camp in it either. You have a warrior spirit. You’re not trying to be important or admired. You don’t need to be seen as tough or hear someone tell you you’re strong. And you’re not a coward.
I respect that.
