I'd list a long list of possibilities, but sinning is something mankind has been good at forever.
I feel like this would warrant a feeling of guilt.Do you usually feel guilt when you err? Is it relegated to certain mishaps and not others?
I feel like this would warrant a feeling of guilt.
yesAre you concerned the lack of guilt suggests you don’t care?
Guilt can be good. It discourages a repeat. If you didn’t care you would not have addressed it all or be discussing it now. You’d sweep it under the rug.
God looks at the heart. He sees what lies beneath our emotions. Guilt is a rarity for me. Not because I ignore my mistakes. But I’m not into punishment and guilt can be a form of flagellation.
I look at intent and behavior. And I’m big on ownership. I may not feel sorry for what I’ve done but God’s perspective compels me to see the matter from His vantage point.
I don’t believe in empty words or saying things because I should. I have no problem acknowledging a different opinion or heart position to Him. If I don’t agree I tell Him. I trust He’ll move me in the right direction. But make believe is pointless.
Guilt can be good. It discourages a repeat.
You cannot consistently obey someone you don’t trust, respect, or believe in. You’ll have a hard time toeing the line. The ideal with obedience is internal compunction. Where the want to obey is an outgrowth of what’s correct. Not due to fear or rewards. But because it pleases Him.
That’s surrender. If negative stimuli is the only way a person yields they’re not surrendered.
Well said, Bella.
How’s everything your way? Are you off?
The Sarah in my name also was once given a face thanks to a friend from my other forum community, RPGMaker Magazine, who was a fan of that card game Magic the Gathering =>

Kalinka, by the way, was also the hometown of my beloved character Sarah Nicholi Winters, mentioned here as - while starting off as an ideal - gave a physical inspiration to the "Sarah" in my name Sarah's Knight, as mentioned a short time ago here when a friend of mine from RPGMaker Magazine made a Magic the Gathering card based on her =>
What's on your mind?
I just wanted to make her the sweetest, most pure-of-heart lady imaginable.
^-^
She's not a real person (although it is true I was once in love with a lass named Sarah in my late teens, it is not her whom my name references), nor is she someone who already exists in RPG's or anime (the two foremost mediums for finding cute fictional girls for a single fellow like myself to attach himself to).
Just an ideal, is all. Brought to life in my own story that I wrote for an RPG made with the RPGMaker 1 software, called Arc Arath, as a human girl who our group of main heroes gain the lifelong friendship of when they meet her on their adventure, and she is admired and loved by everyone around her. To me Sarah is the name of an ideal human woman of great beauty in both heart and soul, such that it illuminates through to her face and causes everyone around her to believe that they must be seeing the vision of an angel of mercy or a goddess of love in the guise of a mere human mortal. ^-^
I am starting a babysitting job on monday for a little boy.
I have some really good news,I am starting a babysitting job on monday for a little boy.
I am so happy about this as I love helping out with kids and will also be making money.
Congratulations sunshine! What a blessing. I’m sure you’ll do well.
Hopefully the boy will be easy to get along with and not turn out to be a scheming psycho like in that movie Better Watch Out.
