On my mind:

- Family
- How one expresses their faith may vary, but that doesn't make it less valid
- Illustrating a new storyboard and designing a UI for the next phase of our project
- Reservations about being on campus (still cautious about covid)

I've done some of that.. that only results in her screaming at me why I treat other women differently than her. There is a part of her I believe is masochistic and likes to fight.

She doesn’t sound masochistic. She seems manipulative and controlling. More importantly, why are you hindered by her tantrums? If she wants to meltdown so be it. You aren’t obligated to respond or listen to it.

Been feeling like that. Honestly I haven't applied to too many IT jobs. Mostly due to depression and self doubt. I feel like in my life I've flatlined.

We have a recession and pandemic. The market is slow. But that won’t last forever. You can’t give into the doldrums and stop applying. You’re extending your misery.

Stop talking to the psycho chick. Get your head in gear.

It's not easy. I started with one minute and worked up from there. I'd like to get back to doing 2.5-3 minutes like I was a few months back. If it's any consolation, another online friend of mine was so unaccustomed to it the one time he tried it that he went down after twelve seconds.

Valentine’s Day is coming! I like to do something for myself. It would be the perfect occasion for steak frites with truffle or garlic butter. A light dessert like coeur a la creme and rose champagne.

Two things that I heard today, while listening to a teaching, that were confirmations:

1. Ever since the beginning, He has called Mankind (husband and wife) to be a Branch, abide in Him, and bear fruit. (Genesis 1:28; John 15:4-5) So, here we have the principle of the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).
2. As we hold to the Vine, we must also have His Breath and His Light, to remain. Just like trees and plants need our breath (Co2) and the sun's light, we need His Spirit and His Word.

This confirmed to me that as a man I must be clinging to the Lord in Spirit and in Truth (True Worship). Of course, for my own well-being, but, more importantly, I have to be prepared to ensure that any helpmate He blesses me with abides in me as I abide in Him, that we may bear fruit.

This is true love...

That a man would commit, from the deepest reaches of his heart, to place abiding in the Vine above all else, because he loves his Lord so much, that he wants nothing more than to ensure that this woman He gave him, bears fruit worthy of Him.

I feel like I’m hunting for concert tickets. Some of the items I needed from Ikea were available. Twenty minutes later two more appeared. A second order was placed. Two to three remain but the rest will be here.

More domestic stuff today. I like to purchase home goods in batches. It minimizes (or eliminates) contact and guarantees you’re not fighting for popular items or paying higher prices when demand increases.

Our home improvement project should be done before Valentine’s Day. Minus the missing cabinets. This will suffice until we move. We created a utility closet and I’ll have a cabinet to store bulk and homemade items in stackable Weck jars.

This is the mini fridge. I don’t use preservatives in my DIY beauty products. The majority must be refrigerated. I’ll have room for store bought and homemade items.

I picked up candles and tea lights. I’m in the mood for soothing scents and a tranquil vibe. I discovered a wonderful CD on Amazon music. You can find it on Spotify and Apple Music. The songs are speaceful. I put it on when I go to bed and sleep well.

I think she is more the latter... just at times she seems to humiliate herself for no reason. She even asked if I found her ugly or not.. (of course I lied) but she seemed to get some delight out of just asking it.

Because she's so loud and she'll often shout out personal things about me in front of others. She has a pretty powerful presence. It's not just me either.. she bosses others around.. no on else wants to argue with her either. Sadly I'm the one she gives the most attention too. There are a few other males she's friendly with though. While I'd feel bad for them.. I wish she'd become obsessed with some other guy.

Not sure how today went.. I avoided talking to her as much as possible.. yet I still had to.. and she made some friendly chit chat that I tried my best to brush off.
