I don't even know what to say in response to your entire post there, Miss Bella, so full of insight, and a zest for following the Lord's will and making the most out of your life, as it seemed to be. Other than this; you must be quite a lady. And Miss Cara-mia sounds like she's right there with you.

Everyone has a story. I'm sure you have your share of insights based on the things you've seen and done. We all do.

I come from a family of doers. My mother loathes procrastination. We weren't allowed to put things off. And my conception of time is different. When you've been ill you understand the necessity of making the most of your moments. Because you don't have the liberty of being pain free all the time. You have to act while you can. You don't have all the time in the world and you know it.

In spite of that, I wasn't operating in my capacity. The Lord healed me but I felt it was too late. I'd lost too much ground. My aunt told me its the end of a thing that matters most. Then the Holy Spirit challenged me. I wanted to write but He said I wasn't reading enough. I encountered a book that altered my concept of time. Then I heard a message that solidified the point.

Once I understood the Lord wasn't done and He desired more from me than marriage; I was ready to hear the truth. That's when He revealed my purpose. I would have married and been happy. But if I had I wouldn't pursue my calling. Marriage and family would be my ministry. He had to establish my calling first. Now I'm ready for the rest.

I met cara before my healing occurred. She's a sweetheart. She protects me from my good intentions.

Yes, I agree with this, to be sure there is no misunderstanding. I think the same sentiments can and should also be applied to all of our relationships to the one Father Himself. Our love for Him as His children should not be one based on fear (of what harm He might do to us if we do not accept His love for us, for instance).

I don't believe we should take advantage of one another. I don't like being in the company of people who exploit others. I like gentle souls.

Our relationship with God has a direct correlation to our parents. Your idea of mother and father come from them. You see God in a different guise when your experiences are positive than when they aren't. Benevolence and grace are difficult to grasp in unpleasant conditions. But you learn with time and prayer.

Your parents have a direct impact on the people you date. The influence is underneath the surface. Most don't realize it. When the Lord is changing you He touches this if you're called to marry. He won't lead you to someone who'd crush your spirit.

That's why I smile when you speak of Erin. I can see the balance. Because I'm going through the same. The one you're meant to walk beside will have three qualities. If they're missing, run away.

She'll be kind. She'll speak the truth in love. And she'll encourage you. When doubt and anxiety rears its head; she'll calm it. She'll be firm without harshness. That's what you need.

You're a rare breed. Goodness in the wrong hands can be destroyed. I mentioned you to my aunt yesterday. We were discussing old fashioned men. She said she'd pray for you to find the right one. She's a prayer warrior.

Hmmmm, My Dad has been taking in a lot of survivalist material. My parents have been playing with the idea of getting out into the sticks. Some place where the land is useful for growing crops and raising livestock.

He actually told me he watches somebody from my branch of faith (Messianic), who is out there, really doing it...living in like-minded community and distancing themselves from the turbulence of today's social climate.

I have leaned towards this kind of living myself, for some time. I want to get a good vehicle that I can live out of and run a circuit through this nation, and lend a hand wherever I can.

An early desire of mine was to become a Forester and I studied a little botany, agriculture/horticulture, ecology, and some other such sciences, heading in that direction. I also learned much about the wildlands and wildlife as I fought fire, worked at campgrounds, and with an environmental restoration organization.

Maybe it's time to get out there, as I have always had that tug. Maybe, go with my aging parents and help them cut out a swathe with them out there in the wilds.

The Hebrew Roots Movement, that I identify with, does emphasize being watchful and prepared for things destined to come. And we treat the Feasts of Yah as rehearsals for it...especially tabernacles. It's a lot of work to have the capacity to go mobile at a moments notice and to have the knowledge and skills to thrive out there.

Well, maybe some day I will finally put that agricultural science degree to better use upon divine inspiration, yes? But for now, it looks like my chemistry minor has had a bigger hand in dictating where I ended up career-wise.

That would really come in handy. I learned a lot working on the farm. I wanted to do a longer program but the Lord said no. You could put the degree to use through your writing. I have an idea of course.

Buuuut, I don't know ... the art medium in anime has in my humble opinion always been about cute and adorable girls first and foremost - before graphic depictions of ridiculously over the top violence, giant mecha, magical world-rending sword techniques, guys with crazy hair, or talking animals with human mentalities and tendencies.

Really any story about four-legged creatures might be a waste on the anime medium.

If I hadn't said it before, despite being a fan often of the art styles from anime and a lot of its Japanese vocal songs, I actually greatly dislike a lot of the actual shows/OVA's that I've seen ever since getting out of my teens where it seemed that I liked watching anime solely on account of seeming so "underground" at the time.

But, there are a few that I still genuinely adore, mostly for their light humor and innocence. Cardcaptor Sakura is one - after all, the guy who adores the titular heroine Sakura in that series is how I have always represented myself on the Internet via avatars - and K-On! is another, which is where that picture comes from.

I highly suggest K-On! for you if you also shrink away from weird, loud anime with ridiculous violence and/or creepy sexual themes, Miss Bella. It's a perfectly light-hearted and simple show about girls in a high school band, and 80% of the music from the show is awesome. Each character is crazy in her own unique little way, but a good kind of crazy.

... That, and somehow being a monster slayer in the legends of video game horror at the same time. It's a bit of a paradox with me, it seems.
