I have made a huge mistake. Somehow, some way I screwed up the right testing date when I first registered for it a few weeks ago, and it was actually last Saturday, not today.There goes 250 bucks for nothing, and I am becoming more and more anxious to realize the Spirit's will. I don't know how much more certain I could possibly be of it. In prayer He has shown me to just not dwell on this stupid little mistake and register again for another time, to just get back up and keep going, that He will come through no matter how bleak the overall situation looks right now due to not only financial circumstances but other situations right now that could seemingly easily bar my ever getting invited by Canada.
Please pray for me to hang in there and not doubt God's faithfulness, no matter what.

I just don't 'get' the Beach Boys... I do to the extent that they were all about surf boards, soda pop, long blonde flocks and cheesy one liners, but when the psychedelic era hit, they just didn't belong y'know? Okay, Pet Sounds was an alright album, but when The Beatles had just dropped Rubber Soul the year before and were about to drop Revolver, Pet Sounds just didn't stand a chance - and that's not to mention what bands like Cream, Small Faces and The Stones were doing at that time either.
When it comes down to it, The Beach Boys had one shtick, surf boards, sunsets and high waves. Even their psychedelic efforts sounded like an episode of Baywatch.
Hey they were the heavy metal of their day. Surf music involves sharks.. and that sounds pretty edgy doesn't it?
They were about as metal as a beach ball. (Although I appreciate the humour.)
The 60's had Janis Joplin anyway - don't worry about a lack of volume, she was an absolute animal. She'd be able to rival most of today's metal bands on her own.
I don't know.. used to watch these YouTube videos of black metal played without much distortion.. and it sounded pretty close to surf music. Seems like if the Beach Boys turned up the distortion they would have been the heaviest band on the planet, lol.
Sooooooo bored... I work customer service at my local Kohl’s store... I clocked in 6:30 tonight and by 7:50 I had all my returns put away, no clearance to clearance, my change drawer counted, two of my three registers counted down and I’m so bored!

I always have books in my office and a tablet I use for notekeeping/studying that syncs up with a tablet I have at home for the same thing. There are often times where there are a few minutes to spare, I prefer to read instead of sitting there doing nothing (but sometimes that's what is needed!).
I technically shouldn’t have been on my phone but I had nothing to do... I had maybe at most ten customers the whole night...

I only like lamb under certain circumstances. Usually in the form of a biryani or a shish kebab. Otherwise, I'm not a fan - it's too fatty and sweet tasting.
