Sarah Solovay's "Superhuman" came on just now on the new and improved Claire Radio (now that I finally got with the times and performed the relatively simple task of connecting my phone to auxiliary power in my car where I can just play a lengthy playlist filled with gigs worth of music rather than change out a CD every 80 minutes ).

Claire is the name of my new(-ish) car, remember. ... Been a pretty great car so far, really.

Oh, I didn't know all this time that the urban legend of the Slenderman was actually based off of a real case. I thought it was just some dumb myth made up to give the game under the same name a "scarier" feel.

no, you are right, it was an urban legend created by the internet, but some people took it too seriously, like those kids, they feared that the slenderman would go after their families so they offered their friend as sacrifice.

If so, doesn't help the pro-gamer argument against the conservative finger-pointing that video games influence kids to commit violent crimes.

yeah and according to that video, seem like there were also other kids later on who did same thing for slenderman. [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse], the movie worries me, because if there are kids who have similar mind problems like these earlier ones, then the movie might not be a good influence for them.

it's not video games per se, but I think it is more of the character or the story.

Praying that you start to have better days more often than seemingly lately where your mood has been all over the place, Lil' Sis'. Please open up to your parents and brother - as it sounds like you are a pretty close-knit family - about your days as of late where you have felt changes in your mood so seemingly out of nowhere, and consider talking to your doctor. Medication can help, just not nearly as often as we would like, but it is a possibility. (Sorry, I do not remember if you have said that you already do. In which case perhaps the solution lays elsewhere in the practical sense, but ultimately with our good God who cares for us even as He may choose to allow us to go through hard times sometimes.) I just know that Sertraline HCl for one, enabled me to start recovering from my own sickness five years ago, generally in the form of being able to relax more and not be alarmed when bad thoughts came to mind.

They are most formidable opponents, unfortunately. I would seriously rather face an armored orc from LOTR actually trying to kill me with those lame hooked swords than either the American or Australian cockroach in my moving boxes or new apartment.

Thanks SK. I need to turn my thoughts back to more fun, creative things again. For some reason I feel shy about telling my family much - I did try telling my mom once but she didn't seem too concerned. Yes, I am taking medication right now, but I probably need counseling at the same time, still waiting on that. (I took Sertraline one time but it didn't help, so I take a different one now). Hopefully my medication is not the cause as mood changes are listed as one possible side effect. I suppose some recent events have caused this as well.

Until I find the Lady Knight of my dreams one day whom I can love romantically, I will always be happy to have the back of the one lady knight I already know ("lady knight" being in lower case to indicate you as a trusted friend and battle comrade, that is ^-^ ). *salutes*

As you are now in heart and character, Miss Multi, it's going to take a lot of evil on your part for me to ever feel inclined to turn away from you and no longer want to help you in any way I can. And of course, even then, the only right thing to do would be for me to try to stand by you regardless. If you didn't abandon me because of my own problems - which I can only rationally think are much more sinful at heart than yours are - then who am I to abandon you?


EDIT: Well, and of course, I only said that first statement for effect. Of course you will still be my fellow lady knight even if I ever find a Lady Knight to love one day.
