We had Thanksgiving. It reminds me of the Great Banquet promised in the Bible. I ate a lot but didn't overeat.
You think you're going to hell b/c you don't feel like working right now?
The Bible teaches no one can live for God all the time, we can't do it. Even when we want to, we can often be doing it for selfish reasons. We are saved b/c those in Christ, he has declared righteous based off Christ's righteousness. You couldn't earn it if you tried.
You may find this helpful. We were discussing in church & I read it as well lately, that King Solomon is often known for building the Temple. But do you know what happened? After that he married a bunch of women & then built temples to the pagan gods for them. You don't want to know what those temples meant, what they did there, & what kinds of gods they worshipped. Can you believe that? He lived for God building the Temple & then did some of the worst sins you can think of. God still calls him righteous.
So we see we have great forgiveness & kindness from God & so try to live the best we can & follow what he says b/c of how he's chosen to see us
Well said, DragonFox.
Please heed these words, @Dreyma . May the Lord give you peace from your troubles and fears, and give you better drive and enthusiasm for working and living for Him.
