You pay her no mind, Sir Riley. Such folk may very well find themselves among the ranks of those who shame-facedly see those whom they insulted and condemned enter the Kingdom before they do. I have come to believe that it is not for us mortals to determine or so much as surmise who are truly among the wheat or the tares, if Jesus' parable in Matthew 13 is any indication.

Anyway, I noticed several times that after somebody gives you advice after you complain how bad you feel, you start to argue. Do as you wish, then.

I’m not really arguing, we are talking about it. If you see this as arguing, I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be, I've been trying to watch my tone in responses to you. If you want to give advice, you have to be prepared to work w/ the person & not just expect them to agree with you every point you make. Overtime they will start to see your advice is true, you have to have the patience to work with them.

Thankfulness is good, right, & true, but it’s just one of many true virtues. I’m saying you need to be optimistic / hopeful about things b/c it breeds positivity.

Thankfulness can lead to complacency.
