I NEED prayer please. I have some decisions to make and I am in desperate need of wisdom.
Perhaps this is fate. In such a small town as Magnolia, Arkansas, where I went to college and came to like it there enough to be willing to stay even after school was over, and a lab job opportunity arose at Albemarle, my first job, just 6 days ago. I just happened to find it when searching on Glassdoor. Considering I was laid off for purely economical reasons, and I had heard a good report of me when they were giving me the layoff speech, perhaps they will actually be glad to have me back.
What do you drive? (make model trim etc.) if you want you can PM me and I will see if I can find anything that might help.I'd love to go aftermarket, but the "dash kit" for my car is super specific and there's only like two, and they're like 400 bucks each. The problem with just buying the same model radio unit is that they're notoriously unreliable (for the same issue I'm having), so a new one may not necessarily fix my problem.
Well, I may have exaggerated with the 80% but it was certainly annoying enough to feel like 80%.... but yeah if you look it up you can hear this marvel of worthless sounds.Oh, wow, I have got to hear this one, then. Last time I kept up with the radio it seemed the maximum capacity of crappy repeated lyrics was only 60%. I didn't really think we could go much further in taking the actual music part out of pop songs, but here we are.
12k steps today at work, man, i'm tired! Started with 5 patients...then discharged 3...took someone else's pt, then got an admit, had some downtime around 11am, quickly rushed to cafeteria, the grill lady's shift was done so the next grill cook came. Lol I felt like a dork, when he be like "What do you want?" and obviously not looking at me, although it was my turn. I butted in "Grilled cheese please!!!" lol. He took 20 mins to get it done! Anyways I gobbled up that thing in like 15 mins. It was good! Rest of the day, just ate a couple of skittles and whatever candy was available at the candy jar in the nursing station...then boom 7pm! Changed of shift, gave report like a boss and clocked out 7:30pm! Then I ran out as fast as I can, never looking back....lol why am I even talking about this...sorry have to vent...

I didn't cook it, did I? Because if I didn't, then it wasn't the bestest grilled cheese. You're just jelly because i has eaten the bestest grilled cheese cooked to perfection....

Whoa ..... Never mind. They require a Bachelor's in chemistry at minimum (I only have a minor), AND 5+ years of experience in repair of lab instrumentation as well as calibration and reading. Oh, I can do the latter two no problem, but precious few are the moments in which my genius and experience has enabled me to bring back a spectrophotometer or titrator from the brink of death.Even as a former employer who had to leave on good terms, I sincerely doubt they will accept my falling just below the mark on both of these requirements.
Thank God. This is the 1st out of the last 5 days where I have sufficiently been able to coordinate myself to walk. I got hit with massive vertigo and ended up in hospital. Even laying down 100% still, objects in the room were turning and moving. It has totally destroyed my exam revision and I have exams in a couple of days
I like hearing from you, though, Abigail. And it's not like you are known for complaining around here or anything. So feel free.
I say go for it! Good to try, and it will be a plus for them since you worked there before.
Id post it, but not only is the "song" useless, but it has lyrics that dont belong here.
I will keep your encouragement in mind, Abigail, but after reading through the details of the job, I really do believe myself unqualified for it. It's just too much a step up from my previous lab tech position there. But thank you anyway.
