when you lose someone the pain is unbearable, either with death or in your life.

Losing my grandmother has really hit me now, its like the end of everything.

Am also finally facing up to the trauma of domestic abuse, which isn't easy. Am the type of person who has had experience in my place, to bottle them up and keep on moving. but now everything has risen up and am feeeling overwhelmed, exposed and low self- confidence.

suppose this is part of God plan(He's also went quiet, funny that) and trust that it will be ok.

It will be ok right?
Definitely praying for you. I know it must be very hard to lose someone you love and to deal with all of that. I know we are all here for you whenever you need support. :purpleheart:

I've lost two of my grandparents, and while I wasn't that close to either of them, it is still very sad when someone isn't there anymore, especially when it's sudden. You do have my support.

Ahh! That's too bad you had to work on a Saturday. Do you have like one Saturday a month that you have to work? Or it happens more often?
I work every Saturday, though I can request off now and then and work a different day instead. I work 4 10-hour days a week, which is fine. 10-hour days don’t seem a whole lot longer than 8-hour days, but it adds up and gives me an extra day off ^_^

@Strider1002 I can't wait til my work goes back to 8 hour shifts on the weekend (no word yet but I don't see how they can keep it). I LOVE working weekends. (I no longer go to clubs/bars, etc.... etc... Im fine with having off during a weekday, I dont need Saturday or Sunday for my weekend.... as long as I have 2 days off Im happy....what do I care if its Sat-Sunday.

Besides, I like when my days off fall on a weekday, go grocery shopping while everyone else is at work..... Oh nooooo please dont make me have to deal with less people... noooooo.... *sarcasm*

I was working weekends and had 3 days off but they said they wanted me M-F. I didn't really care cause the brightside of working the 12s on weekend, 3 days off. The brightside to working M-F no more early early mornings :D

I do miss having off during the week though to get stuff done with less crowds. Having off weekends to me is overrated now, but being my days off are Sat-Sunday ATM........ I cant deny my love of weekends and weekdays just make me sad.

Really? 10 hours always did seem to be a lot longer to me than 8, like more than just a two-hour difference in my mind. ... Especially when I worked at Dr. Pepper. =P

Yep the same. Growing up i was always at my grandparents. It was actually my grandmother and grandfather who took me to Mass every sunday.

Even when i moved she would phone me up, though she be like is it ok to ring because the boys were babies, but I loved it.

Yeah it does feel odd, because also it was christmas day and we were in tenerife and we could only get a flight back the friday and by the time we came back , we couldn't get to see her because of christmas and new year, and it seemed to happened really quickly and it was all werid, like we couldn't bring her home (Its a irish thing, you bring them home) and we couldn't get flowers, she couldn't be butired with my grandfather because their was a mix up with the grave, so she had to get cremated (We are putting her ashes in the grave, which is allowed within the catholic church, some members of the family were worried over this, you arent allowed to keep or scatter them but they are to put in a sacred place)

Thanks for allowing me to ramble :)
They definitely hold a special place in our hearts. Just cherish the time you had with her and remember that you will see her again someday. :)

While you're right to fear veggiesaurs, I mean look at all they put themselves through.... nothing is more painful than no meat....all plant diets..they inflict it upon themselves and enjoy it.... but its okay...... its steroids made from carrot DNA. No worries, she wont kill you cause you're not a plant. :sorry:

Ooh, nice! I think it would be nice to work four 10s. I think you’re right, I don’t really feel a difference between working 8 hours or 10 hours. Unless I have to go in at like 5am instead of 7am, then I might feel it :fearscream:

You feel it all right, when it's 5 in the morning. O_O

... And to think, I used to be able to do 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am four nights in a row standing on my head. No problem ... until they somehow became a problem. ^_^

Thanks!! Life is a crazy thing! :)

Also, welcome baaaaccckkkkk!
Now the question is... Will your relationship status on CF mysteriously be changed to “Private”, or will it be changed to “Married”, and we’ll never see you again? :swoon:

I shouldn’t be speaking of such things though! :holy: I’m sure CF would want us to switch our status to married if we got married... :asd:

Going to start juicing again soon. But first, buy a juicer. :D

My sister received a juicer for Christmas. Not going to lie, I was excited because of the novelty. But I think we were all shocked how much bulk it takes in order to make a substantial juice.

180 carrots
200 apples
19 watermelons
300 bushels of spinach.

Voila! 1 cup of juice.

:D No it's that bad, but definitely unexpected. That being said, I still find it fun to use and try different "recipes" out. Love throwing anything in it and seeing what I can produce. It's like when you were a kid and made "soup".
