Well then, looks like I did well enough for a first time at this dating game. I think Marina and I got along just fine. It helps take the pressure off of me when she is the one who is late to meeting up, too.

Perhaps in a couple of weeks the two of us might move up to a slightly fancier location of dining, in The Galleria area of Houston perhaps, or see a movie together? That would not be too big a leap forward as a second date, would it, you think? (I don't even know if you can legally call this meeting today even a casual date, really. )

What's currently on my mind is...the next drawings I'm going to make. I want to try drawing some characters better and design something for the series I'm writing, but I keep being lazy.

OMM: The joys of having the weirdest dog ever. lol I'm sitting in the dark on my bed, and I feel this thump at the end of it, so I turn on my lamp and my dog, who NEVER gets on my bed, is up on it because he heard thunder lol So he sits for a moment, lays down, and then gets down because he honestly doesnt know what a bed is used for. lol

I agree with @Saucy We can always make better decisions and work towards improving our lives. Every new day is an opportunity to be different or grow. So long as we are alive, we do have hope.

It's also good to keep in mind the reasons you had ( at the time) for choosing to do things a certain way. Sometimes we can make the right decision and feel peaceful in the moment, but second guess it years later. It's easy to forget why something ( or a relationship ) didn't feel right at the time. It's even easier to wonder "what if" if we find ourself still single years later.

I'm actually serious. I never liked living and if these are suppose to be the 'best years of my life' then I'd rather just end it if God doesn't call me home first.

I'm sorry you feel that way. If talking would help, I'll always be available via PM or Skype.

I have been in that position before myself. It isn't pleasant and I've not long been free from that mindset.

I'd be a hypocrite if I said to see someone about getting help with it because I never did, but I'd rather be a hypocrite than a fool to not suggest it. I've long played my cards close to my chest and it's only now looking back that of all the things to perhaps seek help with and talk about, that was probably it. It didn't change until I fell in love. I'd given up on doing things for myself but I found it easier to do things for them and slowly over time I started to see the benefits for myself too.

Anyway, don't be me and wait for the unexpected.
